Introduction

Welcome to Mile! These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Mile Platform(s), including the Mile App, Website, and other services (the "Services"). These Terms of Use (“Agreement”) govern the User’s use of Mile Mobile Application(s), websites, products, services, content, facilities, and platform (collectively called the “Platform”). The User’s Terms of Use Contract is with MILE INTEGRATED SERVICES LIMITED (otherwise denoted with and by “Mile”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”).The User as a party to this Contract/Agreement may be referred to in the context as “You” (this term shall include all variations including “Your” and “Yours”). For the purpose of this Agreement the Driver and Passenger shall be collectively referred to as User.

By accessing and using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all the conditions as herein stated, hence the need to carefully read these terms for proper understanding and application. You agree that this Agreement shall form a binding legal contract between the User and Mile and shall include the additional terms and conditions and policies as may be referenced herein. If you do not wish to accept any of the terms under this Agreement, please do not use the Platform or avail any of the Services being provided therein. By its nature and format as an electronic document generated by a computer system, this Agreement/Contract does not require any physical or digital signature.

To use the Services offered by Mile, the User must be at least 18 Years Old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. You must also have a valid Mile Account and agree to maintain the accuracy and completeness of your account information. USER ACCOUNTS Individual users are responsible for all and every activity at their instance that occurs under in their Mile Account. You must keep your account password confidential and not share it with anyone else. You must immediately notify Mile of any unauthorized use of your account.

To access the functionality of the Platform, a User must create and open an account by registering with Mile; by creating and maintaining your Mile Account, you represent and warrant that You: (1) are at least 18 years of age; (2) have the legal capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement under applicable law of Nigeria; (3) shall ensure that your device meets all technical and operational specifications required to the use the Platform. These specifications are subject to change from time to time. The use and performance of the Platform may be affected by these factors. To ensure compatibility with these specifications is solely your responsibility. Opening an Account is necessary to; - Prevent fraud - ensure security and; - comply with anti-money laundering, sanctions, laws and regulations (as applicable) (The personal data we shall request are as contained in the Privacy Policy (see here) For such registration exercise, the User agrees to provide accurate and up-todate information about himself/herself and authorizes Mile to take whatever actions it deems necessary to verify the accuracy of any information submitted in conjunction with the account. The User also agrees to provide Mile with reasonable assistance in verifying such information upon request. Mile shall bear no liability for any false, incomplete, old or incorrect information and/or data provided by the User while opening the Mile Account. Account Terminal Rule

A User may delete his/her account at any time. This can be done in the app settings or by contacting Mile User Support through……… In some cases, Mile will be unable to terminate such account or may retain certain information for legitimate purposes, as stated in the Privacy Policy for such information that would be retained and how they are subsequently used. Mile may also terminate an account that has been inactive for over 3 years by deletion. In all, Mile has the right to terminate or suspend access to a User’s account for reasons stated in these Terms.

The user agrees and consents to Mile using and processing their personal data for the purposes and in the manner as identified hereunder; For the purposes of this Agreement, “Personal Data” means information about the user, from which the user is identifiable, including but not limited to name, identification card number, address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, email address, any information about the user which the user provided to Mile in his/her registration forms, application forms or any other similar forms and/or any information about the user that has been or might have been collected, stored, used and processed by Mile from time to time and includes sensitive personal data, or as defined under applicable law. The provision of a User’s Personal Data is voluntary. However, if a user does not provide Mile with such Personal Data, his/her access to the Platform may be incomplete and Mile will not be able to process his/her Personal Data for the Purposes outlined below and may cause Mile to be unable to allow such person to use the Platform and the service thereof. The user also agrees that Mile may send push notifications and e-mails, contact the user by telephone or text messages at any of the phone numbers provided or on his/her behalf in connection with a Mile account, including for marketing purposes. The user understands that he/she is not required to provide this consent as a condition of purchasing any property, goods or services.
